StayBehind-Claymore simulator is specially designed to meet demanding training requirements of today’s military, law enforcement and security professionals. This simulator is inert, provides consistent (preset) fuse and run times and an integral rechargeable battery is always mission ready to provide multiple simulations per training session.
A Passive Infrared (PIR) motion detector triggers the mine when a moving target enters the kill zone, approximately 21’ and 120°. When triggered, StayBehind-Claymore alarms for 5 seconds and LEDs flash simulating detonation. Can be placed on the floor, on top of office furniture or other obscure locations, and powerful magnets integrated into enclosure allows positioning on metallic surfaces such as metal doors and stairwells.
The enclosure is designed to withstand rigorous environments by utilizing enhanced PLA (Polylactide) and is environment friendly.
Size, weight and mode of operation provides safe handling, stowing, arming and deployment for training exercises, while non-kinetic visual and audible stimulation is provided via a high-intensity LEDs and loud siren.
Additionally, Technical Surveillance Counter Measures were considered; this device does not support WiFi, Bluetooth or cell phone functionality.
Mode of Operation
Place StayBehind-Claymore in desired location and remove the Pull Pin. Approximately 30 seconds later the device will “chirp” indicating the PIR has normalized and is monitoring for movement. When detected, the audible alarm will sound and LEDs will flash.
Reinsert the Pull Pin to reset / reposition for another training exercise or to disarm and store.
To recharge the battery, ensure the Pull Pin is reinstalled and insert the charger cable into the charge port located on left side. The charger (included) incorporates an LED indicator Charging (Red) and Charged (Green).
